Rickard's Red and Rickard's White

Henry joins me to help me review Rickard's Red and Rickard's White - two Canadian beers that are not sold in the USA. They were given to me by http://youtube.com/DenisLD when he visited a few weeks ago. From what I understand, Rickard's is the Molson equivalent of Coors' Blue Moon line - macro quasi pseudo craft beer.

I didn't write a text review of these.

  1. Rickards red is a really good beer.

    I'm a Canadian.

American beer tastes like watered down skunk piss!

  2. If by "American beer" you mean Bud, Miller or Coors then yes. Although Miller and Coors have since merged with Molson so one of your biggest breweries is no longer pure Canadian.

You can't get a lot of good American beers in Canada. Your beer stores are run by the government and the beer companies - total fascism the way Mussolini would like it.

If you ever get the chance to try truly great American craft beer like Southern Tier, Dogfish Head, Rogue, Stone, or pretty much any microbrew let me know.
