Alex Kopf - lead brewer for Redhook | Interview With A Craft Beer Professional (part 2 of 2)

So how did a lead brewer for one of America's biggest craft breweries end up in my kitchen? Well, Alex Kopf came across some of my reviews of Redhook's beers on Beer Advocate from early 2009 which were negative. He contacted me and said he didn't think I gave them a fair shake and he'd be more than happy to give me some fresh beer as well as some exclusive rarities if I'd re-review them. Not surprisingly I said yes.

Alex was in town for an unrelated function and said he could personally drop off the beer to my house. I grabbed my camera when he showed up and asked if I could do a "quick" interview with him (which I thought would only be 5-10 minutes), but we wound up talking for about an hour!

In this part Alex describes in detail all the beers he brought for me to review. Three of which are brewpub-only releases not for sale to the general public and may never be. I also make a request for some beers I'd hope Redhook would brew.
