   AROMA 9/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 8/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 15/20

Drank a 12oz bottle sent from a friend in Canada.

Appearance: Looks like an IPA. Orange body, nice head, decent lacing.

Aroma: FLOWERS! Very powerful floral hop aroma, some citrus.

Taste: Just like the nose it’s all hops all the time. Clean, floral hops with piercing bitterness. You’re sure this is a pale ale, not an IPA? Eventually I get some honey and coffee notes but they are subtle. Palate is very robust but simple.

Mouthfeel: If you’re not a hophead don’t drink this. These hops tear you up and dry you out.

Drinkability: Plenty of bite as it crosses the tongue, but goes down smooth.

Overall: I can’t believe this isn’t an IPA and it’s only 5.3% ABV. It tastes like a 7% IPA! My only complain is it’s rather simple. It would go great with a steak.
Grade: 8/10
