Interview With A Craft Beer Enthusiast: Beerichituba (Part 1 of 2)

Winton White, better known as is one of the veterans of the "BeerTube" scene (a term he coined, by the way). He was one of the first people on YouTube to make partner due in part to his video beer reviews on his original channel In mid-2010 he started a second channel just for beer reviews and his original channel is now reserved for personal vlogs and Japanese lessons. Winton is a member of "Beer Geek Nation" and has tried over 800 beers, so he's a very reliable source for beer reviewing I'd say.

In Part 1 of this 2-part interview, Winton discusses: the different names he goes by; the origin of his first channel and why he started a second channel; his personal history with beer and the differences between Japanese and American beer cultures; what beers turned him on to craft beer; how and why he got into video beer reviewing on YouTube; how he coined the term "BeerTube"; his thought-process on judging a beer; and how he gauges the quality of a beer.
