The Duck-Rabbit Milk Stout (2016 original review)

   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 13/20Chad9976 (1546) - Orlando, Florida, USA - FEB 17, 2016

AROMA: Some dark fruit, a bit of chocolate. Noticeable metallic tang. Old bottle. 7/12

APPEARANCE: Dark brown, fairly clear. Small tan head - fizzles away. No lacing. 2/3

FLAVOR: Sweet but not as sweet as most milk stout. Tastes better than it smells. Pretty well balanced. Nice fruity notes of raisin, plus some chocolate. Metallic tang is noticeably. 15/20

MOUTHFEEL: Medium body, low carbonation. Slight astringency. Dry finish. 3/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: Definitely a good milk stout, but this bottle was old. Probably much better fresh. 6/10
