APPEARANCE: Crystal clear amber. Highly effervescent. Large beige foamy head. Decent retention and lacing. 3/3
Moderate biscuit/toast notes; general amber malt flavor. Some dry
bitterness on second half. Some caramel sweetness as it warms, though
flaked maize is noticeable. No abrasive flaws. 15/20
MOUTHFEEL: Medium/light body. Crisp. Not refreshing, but smooth and sessionable. 4/5
IMPRESSION: Better than Yuengling, almost as good as Brooklyn Lager.
Drinker-friendly (which is why this is also the Simpson’s "Duff Beer" at
Universal Studios). 7/10
