Orlando Brewing I-4 IPA (re-review)

   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 15/20Chad9976 (1554) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAR 2, 2016

NOTE: I don't usually re-review a beer after a week, but I was able to get a very fresh bottle straight from the source (at Florida Beer Company). Since this bottle was only 3 weeks old at the time i decided to see how different it would be from the bottle I originally reviewed that was 8 months old at the time.

AROMA: Fruity/berry/floral scent. Slight buttered popcorn. 9/12

APPEARANCE: Very clear copper/magenta hue. Average foam and good lacing. 3/3

FLAVOR: Generic, but enjoyable hop presence. Flavor seems closer to berry or melon than citrus. Faint pine presence in background. Malt is mildly caramel. Has some English IPA characteristics, but without assertive Ringwood character. 15/20

MOUTHFEEL: Medium body; crisp. Minor bitter aftertaste. No booze. 4/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: What a world of difference freshness makes! Though not an amazing IPA, this is a solid one. 6/10
