Orlando Brewing Right on Red

   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 11/20Chad9976 (1556) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAR 8, 2016

NOTE: Bottled version seems to be completely different recipe from draught version which is an Irish Red.

AROMA: Quite sweet with prominent caramel presence. Faint citrusy hops. 8/12

APPEARANCE: Mostly clear copper/amber hue. Pours to a small beige foam. Little lacing or retention. 1/3

FLAVOR: Plenty of caramelized malt presence makes for a sweet palette. Some toffee too. Bitterness is noticeable, but fairly mild overall. Some graham cracker flavor in background. Citrusy hops are faint. Not bad, but not really to spec 11/20

MOUTHFEEL: Medium body and carbonation. Smooth. Mostly clean finish. 4/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: Much sweeter than the average Amber/Red ale, though this bottle is about 4 months old. Probably good fresh, but this is decent 6/10
