AROMA: Sweet honey scent with confectionery notes (toffee, especially).
Citrus peel seems more sweet than spicy. Plenty of bright malt. 10/12
APPEARANCE: Dark orange to copper hue; mostly clear with slight haze. Large, ivory, frothy head. Good lacing and retention. 3/3
More sweet than spicy. Seeming pale or amber ale base recipe. Honey is
mostly fermented out, though the malt bill creates for slight honey
flavor. Citrus peel emerges on backend with a slightly spicy/sweet
sensation. Spices blend with hops for minor - but noticeable -
bitterness. Tasty and interesting. 16/20
body. Well carbonated so as not to be syrupy. Some crispness on finish.
Minor alcohol warming sensation, though smooth and drinker-friendly. 4/5
IMPRESSION: An interesting recipe to be sure and the actual execution
is commendable. Good taste and drinkability. Difficult to classify its
