Deep amber/slightly reddish copper. Crystal clarity with CO2 always
present. Fairly large, white, frothy persistent head. 3/3
Soft malt presence, but quite flavorful. Caramel/toffee flavors without
becoming cloying. Strong hop presence with floral and spicy notes.
Bitter, but restrained. Perfectly balanced. 17/20
MOUTHFEEL: Body is fairly strong for 4.9% ABV. Medium sized, crisp; clean dry aftertaste. 5/5
IMPRESSION: To-spec in pretty much every way. Not sure why BJCP doesn’t
have this listed as a commercial example of the style. 9/10
