   AROMA 8/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 8/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 15/20ChadPolenz (1652) - Lakeland, Florida, USA - JUL 25, 2016

2015 BJCP Category: 30A Spice/Herb/Vegetable (base brew: 23A Berliner Weisse)

AROMA: Mostly tart with some lemonpeel. Clean, floral scent. 10/12

APPEARANCE: Pale banana yellow; hazy body with slow CO2 visible. Large white foam almost completely dissipates. 2/3

FLAVOR: Tartness is evident right away on the lips and tongue. Taste has a clean citrus flavor in the background. Lovely sourness on finish with clean, dry aftertaste. The elderflower imparts no discernible flavors. 16/20

MOUTHFEEL: Light body; always crisp. Sour/tartness never let up. Refreshing in the summer heat. ABV is higher than it needs to be. Would be better packaged in cans. 4/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: A solid, tasty, refreshing Berliner Weisse, though th elderflower component is unnoticeable. 8/10
