2015 BJCP Category: 30A Spice/Herb/Vegetable (base style: 24A Witbier)

AROMA: Light chamomile tea notes; slight orange juice. Floral scent. Nose is mild. 8/12

APPEARANCE: Apricot pale orange/amber hue. Very cloudy body though no visible sediment. Small, white foam. 2/3

FLAVOR: Strong honey flavor throughout which is boosted by alcoholic presence. General orange/coriander/tea flavor combination. Some vanilla essence at the end. Has a flavor of cinnamon-dusted cookies, too. Sweet but not cloying. Spice could use a boost. 17/20

MOUTHFEEL: Thick, full-bodied mouthfeel. Not syrupy as it finishes surprisingly clean. Alcohol does play a major role in the palette and body; warm throughout but tolerable. 4/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: Very interesting and delectable palette. A bit boozy, but quite drinkable. Not very reminiscent of a witbier, though. 8/10
