2015 BJCP Category: 21A American IPA
AROMA: Tropical/citrus fruit plus strong grass or spice rack notes. 10/12

APPEARANCE: Hazy shade of tarnished amber. Large white froth retains and laces well. 3/3

FLAVOR: Strong hop flavor throughout. Tropical fruits at first with a spicy/grassy/zesty sensation as it finishes. Slight onion or garlic in the aftertaste. Malt backbone is pale/amber flavor and a touch of biscuit. Slight vanilla flavor lurks in the background, though the beer is not sweet per se. 17/20

MOUTHFEEL: Medium+ body and matching CO2 level. Smooth and soft, yet crisp. Alcohol is subtle. Slightly grassy/starchy in the aftertaste. 4/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: Reminiscent of a NEIPA with tropical fruits and herbal/grassy flavors. Hits all the right marks for the style. 9/10
