2015 BJCP Category: 5D German Pils

AROMA: Light citrusy/lemon hop character (American hops?). Low grainy sweet malt presence. 8/12

APPEARANCE: Pale yellow; mostly clear with constant CO2. Creamy, long-lasting white foam with plenty of lacing. 3/3

FLAVOR: Moderate grainy sweet malt character; slight graham cracker taste (especially on the finish). Hops are pronounced with a spicy rye-like flavor. Bitterness is dry. Minor lemon flavor in the aftertaste. 15/20

MOUTHFEEL: Medium-light body; effervescent but smooth. Refreshing with a lingering, enjoyable aftertaste. 4/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: Mostly true to style, though there seems to be an American influence. Enjoyable and fun to drink. 7/10
