21st Amendment El Sully

ChadPolenz (1800) - Lakeland, Florida, USA - JUN 22, 2017

2015 BJCP Category: 2A International Pale Lager

AROMA: Lightly sweet pale malt with plenty of flaked maize present. Aroma akin to white tortilla chips. Very low spicy hops. Clean fermentation. 10/12

APPEARANCE: Straw/pale yellow hue; high clarity; consistent carbonation. Large white foam mostly dissipates. 3/3

FLAVOR: Mild palette of blonde malt without any distinctive features. Sweetness is quite light with a bit of a corn flavor as it finishes. Does NOT taste like cereal, creamed corn or mineral water. Faint trace of spicy hops and accompanying bitterness. Clean fermentation profile. 15/20

MOUTHFEEL: Light body with medium carbonation. Crisp and refreshing with clean aftertaste. Easily sessionable at 4.8% ABV. 4/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: This beer is similar to most macro adjunct lagers, yet tastes so much better. Being to-spec will do that. 8/10
