AROMA: Medium-low clean sweet malty presence with a corn or cereal-like
character. No discernible hop character. Clean fermentation profile.
APPEARANCE: Yellow golden hue; brilliant clarity. Large bright white froth retains and laces well. 3/3
Medium-low pale malt flavor throughout. Some sweetness initially with a
touch of caramel. Second half becomes a bit drier and rustic with a
cracker-like flavor of starch. Finishes with a brief corn or rice cereal
sweetness before fading away cleanly. Hops are subtle, but may account
for a mild spicy sensation towards the end. Clean fermentation profile
MOUTHFEEL: Medium-light body; medium-high CO2.
Smooth texture with a clean, crisp finish. Somewhat refreshing. Quite
efficient and sessionable for 4.9% ABV. 4/5
For a macro lager, this is actually quite good and easily drinkable.
Unfortunately, it’s difficult to find fresh so it’s usually oxidated.
