DOB: 3/27/2017
2015 BJCP Category: 30A Spice/Herb/Vegetable Beer (base style: 18A Blonde Ale)
AROMA: Moderate grapefruit and general citrus aroma due to dry hopping and fruit zest added. Generic base malt scent, not particularly sweet. 9/12
APPEARANCE: Dark gold/amber hue; mostly clear. Moderate off-white foam. 3/3
FLAVOR: First half is light malt character with a background citrusy note. Not especially fruity-tasting until the finish when a prominent, but brief grapefruit taste emerges. Lightly bitter; dry sensation; transitions into grapefruit note quite well. Palette is rather mild overall, but enjoyable. 15/20
MOUTHFEEL: Medium-light body; medium carbonation. Crisp, slightly refreshing, mostly clean aftertaste. Seems a little light for 5% ABV. Probably sessionable to some. 4/5
OVERALL IMPRESSION: More interesting than the average blonde; but not necessarily better. 7/10
TOTAL SCORE: 38/50
