Judged to 2015 BJCP Style Guidelines for: 2A International Pale Lager
AROMA: Mild nose overall with a low grainy-malty barley character with a subtle graham cracker component. Very low lemony/spicy hops. Fermentation seems to be clean. 9/12
APPEARANCE: Brilliantly clear golden color (2-4 SRM). Large white foam mostly dissipates but does leave some lacing. 3/3
FLAVOR: A low amount of clean grainy malt with just the slightest graham cracker/honey flavor. Equally low hops with a earthy/spicy flavor; low bitterness. Aftertaste is neutral. Overall palette is quite mild, even by International Pale Lager standards. Fermentation seems to be complete and clean. 14/20
MOUTHFEEL: Medium-light body; medium carbonation. Smooth; slightly slick. Refreshing and highly drinkable at 4.7% ABV. 4/5
OVERALL IMPRESSION: Definitely not a pilsner, but a pretty good Int'l Pale Lager. I'd prefer more flavor, however, the target audience probably doesn't. 8/10
TOTAL SCORE: 38/50
